Hi !

We are working on a bike trailer and want to put some turn-signals on it. We want those to be wireless, but found that existing solution for bikes are not working due to range issues.

We came up with an idea of combining a 12V Wireless Magnetic Truck /Trailer Rear Light as seen on https://tinyurl.com/2p84c5dw with a motorcycle turn light switch. https://tinyurl.com/3apyxea4

The idea is to have a small battery, the switch, and the 7pin transmitter on the bike to make it wireless. On the rear of the trailer, we simply stick the magnetic lights.

Our problem is to connect the 7 pin transmitter with the motorcycle switch and the battery.

1. A 7 pin trailer plug usually works on 12V, could we use a small A23 battery to power it all?
2. Should we put a relay between the switch and the 7 pin ? Or between the switch and the battery ? Or no relay at all ?
3. And above all, do you think it could work?

Thanks !

Gabriel
