Bonding commercial kitchens

I'm working in a new build school kitchen at the moment and am bonding. We have taken earths around all the pipework and fan canopys but what about stainless steel tables, shelving, etc? Would this need to be bonded? Also, tables and racks which are on wheels? Obviously being on wheels you'd imagine they'd be pulled in and out for cleaning so what about these?

Any advice much appreciated

Supplementary bonding of metal work surfaces, etc, is not a specific requirement of BS 7671. The designer of the electrical installation may, however, perceive there to be an increased shock risk in that particular location and specify additional bonding.

i worked in a production kitchen for 3 years and all the metal tables and fridges were cross bonded in 4mm with spiral twists so the tables could be pulled out to clean behind. I'm not saying its necessary, its just what ive seen from my days as a chef.

Yeah that's what we've done in this kitchen, twists of 6mm around each table. Wasn't sure if it was particularly necessary because where do you stop? Bonding everything metal, lockers, shelves, pots, pans!

Make sure you bond one of the ankles of each kitchen porter, they dont move very far and are almost a fixed installation
