Depends what you want, vista print are quite cheap but quite basic. My first lot came from them but I went to a local print/graphic design shop for the last lot and it's like night and day with the quality. Think I paid £36 for two hundred from the print shop.

They can be but if you select the thicker ones and have a gloss finish they are OK.

My last order, in Sept last year set me back £52.00 for 1500 double sided cards - one side glossy! So about 3.5p per card. People keep quality cards so a small cost IMHO

I got mine done with vista print, design it online and it saves it price of card is irrelevant as I call out or back and the moneys covered. but u can also get fridge magnets done and pens once the 1st designs done its really simple to update, order a small quantity and normal slow delivery and within 24 hours of your order they will offer you more stuff for cheaper, I also have glossy 1 side, cant tell you how successful they are but I ve been self employed for 8 years and im still breathing and I don't advertise anywhere and only give my cards out to selected individuals who I think are worthy.

As above agree with vistaprint, just take your time designing them and spend a bit more for the quality.

A professional design is always the best way to start. Then find a local Litho print company for the printing, the quality is second to none compared to digital. It may cost a bit more but so many companies are vying for business there is always a deal to be had.
