Convertabulb

I just wanted to mention this company that I have used twice to buy LED lamps.

I always found them friendly and helpful, they also gave a discount to trade.

I have recently had a customer ask me to change his LED lamp that I fitted 13 months ago as it had blown. I replaced free of charge. I expected convertabulb to refund without a quibble as their warranty states 2 years.

I have had no reply to my 5 emails or to my answer phone message.

I realise it's only one lamp, but I wouldn't contemplate ignoring a customer.

Hopefully this thread can stay as Convertabulb (Best Commercial LED Lighting Bulbs, Appliances - Convertabulb) are not a sponsor and more importantly I have not stated an opinion about this company I have just stated a few facts.

I did contemplate the small claims court (out of principle) and may still do so if I'm bored one day, but I probably wont as it's not worth the hassle for one little lamp! It's just a little frustrating and also perhaps confusing as I would have bought lots more from them had their after sales service lived up to expectations.

Surely it should stay even if they were a sponsor, you are only passing on a factual experience and are not being malicious.

sadly you dont find out how good a company is, untill you have a problem
and a company that has good support/customer care its worth paying the extras for.

Cheers for the heads up Happy. Always good to know these things. Given the extent you have gone too to contact them, your grievance is well founded mate. Annoying tho still.
