Couldn't miss it! Kept me awake all night.Hope you all had a good look at the Super Moon, came over the horizon a nice Pink shade as it got higher it turned its normal white and very bright.
was this in UK or France?Interesting afternoon, I live on a very narrow country lane, however sitting in the garden this afternoon, heard a car approaching at what sounded like a very reckless speed as It went past I just caught a glimpse of a white car, about 20 seconds later a very loud bang, Oh I thought someone's hit the tree on the bottom corner again, so went to have a look and sure enough car completely demolished and driver screaming his head off, air bags deployed and driver laying across both front seats, obviously had not been wearing a seat belt, looking him over it looked to me that he had dislocated or broken a hip and his knee on the other leg, called the emergency services and tried to comfort the driver, does anyone know if the talcum powder inside the air bags smells like alcohol, in all there about two hours giving statement to the police, could not believe the questions they asked, for instance, "Would I be prepared to stand by my statement in a child protection court hearing" I asked why and was told, divorce proceeding my ensue and child custody may be an issue, who'd of though that.
Just say your delivery furniture.UK, can't get to France at the moment, too many restrictions.
No, but it could save it's bacon! If a pig runs too fast, will it pull a hamstring.
I'll grab my coat...
Speaking of Star Wars..... how did R2D2 (him on my profile pic) ever get anywhere with the computers?and if anyone missed my "off topic" post yesterday.... Happy (belated) Star Wars Day!
CAPTCHAs are clearly an evil plan by the incoming robot overlords though, since only computers can solve the bloody things these days..... Takes us poor humans several goes to work out if that's a 'sidewalk' or not...Speaking of Star Wars..... how did R2D2 (him on my profile pic) ever get anywhere with the computers?
As soon as he connected there would be a CAPTCHA asking him if he was a robot........
Not to mention using us as unpaid "mechanical Turks" to try and help train self-driving car systems, etc.CAPTCHAs are clearly an evil plan by the incoming robot overlords though, since only computers can solve the bloody things these days..... I always was amazed they always had the correct lead to connet to what ever space ship or space station he was in ?Speaking of Star Wars..... how did R2D2 (him on my profile pic) ever get anywhere with the computers?

He has to spin it 3 times to ensure it's the right way up - as happens with all usb connections....Lightning? usb C? Nooooo.... just shove in the pointy thing and spin it round a few times....
We're still talking about R2D2 here
Good call, it is an easier way too soothe it than holding the wasp under vinegar.Flipping wasps. Hate the little bar stewards
Hold the stung area in vinegar.
Electricians? Yes, we know.I agree with you . They are amazing workers and smarter than they first appear.
Rude ?essex (neil) even more so.
So glad to see you back.Rude ?
Been up there long enough that you have plausible deniability, I assume? ?I guess it was just a slip that the installer cut the blue wire to the pendant and took the obvious alternative route...but a wee bit of blue tape would've been nice, albeit the situation is perfectly clear. However, a short length of new flex would have been a better solution. The brown wire has its insulation "nicked" too, though it's not that clear in the photo.
Yep - seen a lot worse - with smaller 'roses' that style of terminal blocks is often unusable, since the existing cable is too short to reach far enough away from the ceiling to connect to the terminals with a screwdriver.... So you end up adding tails and not enough space in the rose for existing cables, so end up hacking the ceiling out to fit a wago lite or similar in there...grrrPlausible deniability or not, I've never been in there before, so it wisnae me, m'lud!
here's a pic of the new fitting, and it's not bad, considering how awful some of them are.

usual cpc to "tag" on base, into block and with a fly lead to the mounting bracket as well, taken from a bolt holding one of the lampholders. It's also a decent diameter, allowing a fair degree of positioning over the original rose position. TBH, not bad really.
Me. Very similar. Lasted 24 hours then I was fine.COVID, people.
I had my first at 11 this morning... didn’t feel a thing. Took the afternoon off and watched telly.
9:30 pm tonight.... got the shivers. Legs are jelly... ache in between my shoulder blades.
I know side effects are normal up to 24 hours later....
Did anyone else get knocked down with the first jab?
(that’s not a boxing pun)
