All I can say is why?I have seen CUs installed like that on pre-wired portacabin office type buildings.

A very common thought when electricity was first introduced into homes, "if there is not a plug in the socket the electricity will leak out"My seven year old lad said to me last week that if you cut through a cable then the electricity would pour out everywhere ( he thought it would be similar to what water would do). Technically he could be right with a HV cable I suppose...
