Hi Guys, I'm looking to /load free electronically EIC cert"s. I've done bit of research and found plenty of EICR ones. Any one know of any links to get just the EIC ones? Thanks

Why not bite the bullet and invest in software to do your certs?

If you are hand writing them, do you photo copy the cert for your records or write a 2nd one?

Is this domestic or commercial/industrial? Pretty sure you can't d/load domestic EICs because of needing a cert number at the top. Part P and all that requires the cert number cross referenced to the LA certificate.

Im still lazy. I like the "hand written" look, but it is a grind if you've got a few to do, especially if they're multiple dist boards.

I also hate the self important scam versions with loads of annotations and extra bits stuck on.

I just use the originals.

I link the Part P bit with a unique identifier. And scan the originals, all with the same job number in a folder so in the (not so unlikey ) event of someone requesting a copy, its dead easy.

but I realise if I had an iPad on site, filled it in as I went along, etc it would be so much better.

The only thing with hand written Certs is if you make a mistake on say page 3 of the cert and they have the cert code printed on all 3 pages like the niceic ones you feel like going mental as you have to write the whole cert out again not just delete the mistake like you can on a tablet/PC lol

I'm not into any reports Murdoc, but I'm doing a one off new build for family member. LBA have been informed etc. Thought it would be nice and neat if electronically done

Yes, to d/load but then to fill out electronically on a computer..so much neater than my scribble......I'm thinking of the poor electrician that may have to read it later on!

That's a right bugger it is, I now use the NICEIC Certs online. Looks more professional in my opinion and there's no risk of losing copies or purchasing multiple copies of stuff I only do once in a blue moon (fire alarms emergency lighting)

Not that I do certs, but I was told that the new on line certs once completed and saved, you can not re open them for any editing that you thought of, unlike on the computer which you can reopen for editing.

You can re open and edit as much as you want, but once you click complete and send copy you can't edit or change anything.
