I live in Malaysia and this happened to the office i'm working at.
There's a MCB that controls the light in room A and the stairwell.
Either the MCB or the ELCB will trip randomly even though no one is playing with the switches.
I tried to troubleshoot it myself. So far the situation is
1. The ELCB wont trip when i turn on the MCB. But when i try to turn the switch on and off a few times for the stairwell, the ELCB trips. There's a LED 240V AC light bulb at the stairwell which doesn't light up when i turn the switch on but blink a few times when i turn the switch off.
2. The ELCB trip instantly when i turn on the MCB even though the light switch for room A and stairwell is turned off.
