Hi all,


I keep getting jobs by email offering Canadian citizenship after 6 to 9 months, I'm sure most of you will have seen a similar sort of thing. My question is this, does anyone know anymore about this kind offer, does anyone know of someone that has already gone through with it. No doubt I will be making enquiries myself but I'm just after a heads up.

Presumably you mean residency rather than citizenship. I can be absolutely certain that no country will offer citizenship after 6 - 9 months (excluding Vatican City State where the Pope would be a Vatican citizen).

Sounds a bit suspect to me as well, I'd wouldn't skimp on due diligence if I were you.

If someone is coming to you with an offer it can only be for their benefit. I'm pretty sure I could suss out how to get out there without the aid of a third party taking a slice. It would be good to find someone who has gone through the process.

Bloke I work with worked in Canada for 3 years (ish) but said he couldve stayed for 10. Probably try research the company offering the job first.

Not got a clue what you're asking here?? Whatever it is, wouldn't the person to ask be the guy you are working with, after all he was over there working for 3 years??
