I've passed my 2330 l2 but can't get into electrical work however many calls, emails, blah blah..... anyway i've been offered some tiling/ plumbing work renovating bathrooms, have any of you on here found employees or employers from other trades on site?

Hi fella,a lot will depend on your age. If,as i suspect,you are at the younger end of the job,then work is work. You can get involved with lots of different trades and it's the contacts you will make that build future opportunities. It may be the tilers daughter,who you end up courting,whos bosses brother gives you a start in 6 months...sounds mad? Most of my breaks and chances have arrived via tortuous links such as this,it's NEARLY almost always WHO you know and not formal means. That is NOT an admission of pinning a tail on dozens of tilers' daughters....rrr:
