I'm just completing a quote for a roof from 50kwp to 200Kwp options however this is an old unit which is going to be refitted. Therefore I have assumed EPC of D, however wondered if there are any short cuts eg. have a partitioned office with heating controls in with the rest of the unit without heating controls. Could you use the office part for the EPC....

Advice and thoughts much appreciated.

or why not as it is do an EPC, and therefore it wont be possible as there will be no heating or cooling. Get a Non Domestic Energy Assesor to confirm this and have a letter that explains this. As far as I am aware there are no rules that mean if the building changes its use in the future you have to have an EPC of D or above.

I am installing PV on storage units with old offices built inside. My assessor told us to remove all heaters to achieve a D rating or keep heaters and improve insulation and windows.
