Hi, done a periodic on an oldish installation and there was one of those old pull cord operated bathroom heaters above the door with exposed heating element - what is the advice on this??

you can light your smoke off it.
 
i thought this was going to be about an `exposed to the elements bathroom`.....

you would have to keep a lookout though for `mirror signals` from the neighbouring houses windows....
 
Remember having one in my house when I was little above the bath, chucking water on it to and watch it sizzle! . Was a good heater , if I recall

Haha .... yes we had one too and yes - they are good and still available and advertised as ok for bathroom use - which they are.

Not sure if they are "fashionable" enough for these modern folk though.
