every time I turn on the ring main, mcb the rcd trips i've crossed over line and neutral at cu and tested each socket reading between 0.5 and 1.5 ohms. please help

if he's done a cu change, bet its a neutral in the wrong bar ( not a gay bar )
so that elimimates the wrong bar theory. need to IR each circuit on that RCD. also test the RCD including ramp test. if you have got an earth leakage clamp meter that could speed up the process.sorry about the lack of info I went to bed early
yes i have just replaced with dual rcd split board for the first 2 days everything worked fine then 1 rcd tripped turned it back on and just kept tripping, I have unplugged every thing out of the ring main and it still trips no i have not done ir since tripping

i have now connected the ring main bypassing the rcd and it works but would prefer it to be on rcd as i have my elecsa assessment coming
Check conductors end to end. Very possible there is no continuity on phase or neutral.
