I cannot believe there are any good ones left ;) back in the day,we tortured quite a few of them...Good little engines, that found their way to many pumps and grass trackers.

Put one of mine on it's roof 6 times, and on it's side... dozens...we even found out the minimum weight it needed in the rear,to wheelie it....it was a full Talco tool chest and some lathe parts:)

They all smelled the same, when hot, and, the saddest i ever saw one look, was the one an apprentice was asked to put over the pit....which he did,but at a brisk pace, and front-first...instead of the usual careful reverse

Superb! They're 'unique' and I've come close to rolling it myself. Blew the engine at 85 on the M40, which meant the restoration started sooner thsn intended!

I had a Boom trike,based on a VW1200...it was built like a train,but very large....

Best fun on 3 wheels, was one i had, built on a Kawasaki Z1300....6 cylinders, and a beer-keg silencer  it would manage multiple, roundabout drifts, wet or dry,but because everything you could see and touch, was motorbike...you had to constantly remind yourself of the sticky-out bits, behind

Most foolish trike? ...one me and a pal knocked up,for an Irish fella, who gave us a child's tricycle, and wanted something engine-powered,to tow a tiny dog trailer,at 2 mph,in the St Patrick's day parade o_O

We fitted a small Wacker plate engine, and some reduction gears, and hey-presto,we had something that even the Jack Russel looked embarrassed to be associated with....

I drove those things when I was younger
much younger
they were quite new then!

when it was raining or icy, it made a great change from the motorbike, oddly fat Sam, my schoolmate who was actually 6 foot and skinny, but liked fat birds, loved his regal van, it was like a 3 wheeled A team van all furry inside as well

me I would have hated to admit to a girl that I owned one !
I only ever admitted to owning a motorbike, and that was rubbish and leaked oil everywhere
