Discuss Garden install questions in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I have asked the question and they are sure it just small items that will be used.

I am worried about the volt drop as the the sockets have to be run around the garden. If I ran it as a separate circuit it will have to be a 101m run in total.

If I ran the sockets from the 4 channel then I think I will get a call saying they ain't working when they haven't switched them on

If thats your biggest worry then not to much too worry about.

Don't worry about volt drop, just design the circuit properly and you won't have a problem.

Is this a new circuit you are proposing?

My Idea was to run 2 supplies 1 for lights 1 for sockets.

But client wasn't happy to hear the fact there will be 2 swa cables on show.

Plus the sockets would be at least 100m to the last point.

So I have gone with the suggestion of using the wise box to do it all and I am scrapping the 3 socket.
