I’ve mounted a Cu at eye level in tall cupboard unit, easy to see and reset if necessary.cruella da ville( customer ) now wants it moving 500mm up ! She’s a pain in the arse and has been all through the job ) is there a regulation I can hit her with regarding height and accessibility, I know there was something that was issued in the 15th ? Or part m of building regs ? Just so I can leave where is it make her pay to move it ! Thanks

Sure he meant rewires thanks lads , I’ll print of documents and tell her I’ve put it higher than it should be anyway , it’s approx 1.7m affl

As it's not a new build then the work carried out must no more unsatisfactory in relationship to the requirements than before the work was started.....Basically if it was at the height the customer now wants it before then there's is no reason not to put it back at that height other than personal preference.

If she's nasty to dogs then its luck that any lights work to see where the CU is ... I didn't really say that did I? That was just a thought really, I didn't write it down or anything
