I am a 57 grumpy old bloke called Karl (only grumpy when I'm tired lol) and worked with electric all my life, well at least since I remember, I was 6 years old when I wired a round 2 pin socket on the record player with a butter knife.....lol

I am a qualified Motor vehicle engineer, with experience in after market automotive installations.
Since 1997, I have worked on emergency vehicle that not only required 12v installation, but 240v installations, inverters, shoreline, generator supply.
I had a period where I was a residential and commercial 'sparky's mate' for around 8 years. I have no actual qualifications, but I do work to the latest reg's and get my work signed off and certificated as and when.
I came across the forum whilst searching RCBO's and took the opportunity to join as gaining knowledge and advice is a daily thing for everyone in life.
Thanks guys.
Karl
