That is something I will have to test in the morning. Any other ideas? Thanks for the repliesIs there voltage between the apparent redundant neutrals and the neutral bar in the new board when the lights are on.
Borrowed N may be, need to do some investigation methinks.I changed an old fuse board for a new consumer unit and the lighting for this house was connected in two separate fuses. So I swapped one for one and put them into two 6 amp breakers. Now the light at the bottom of the stairs is permanently on and the light at the top is off. Light at top controlled by two way switching. Light at the bottom just controlled by single switch! I think it is possibly one big ring as I am getting cutlrrent on the other when only one is connecting into a breaker?
also tested the light that is permanently on and the current is not coming from the switch live but instead from the neutral
I want to ask the same questionHi Joe, what pre-work tests did you do?: And what tests have you done since finding the issues?
