Help with a 3 phase system!!

Hi all,

I'm sure this has been asked before and I've had a look on the forum but can't seem to find an answer.

I'm just designing a 9.66kWp system over 3 phases. 3 x 3.22kWp with 3 sunny boy invertors which will keep it under G 83/1. 3 ac and dc isolators next to invertors and I will run 3 SWA's to where the existing consumer units are. There is no space on any of them.

Now my question is what to do next? 3 single phase generation meters or 1 3 phase?
What sort of isolators? 3 double pole or 1 4 pole isolator? What sort of consumer unit/units should I use when i come of each of the phases with emery blocks?

Any help would be much appreicated.

It will be cheaper with one 3 phase inverter such as a Sunny Tripower 8000TL or 10000TL. Then you have just one AC cable to run, one 3 phase meter and your choice of 3 or 4 pole isolator - strictly I believe the 4 pole is only required for TT systems not TN

I am an advocate of 3 x single phase inverters but now with the Tripowers from SMA I think I will go down this route now. I have a 9.990kWp in plan and have specked the 10000TL. One three phase way required, One 3ph gen meter and one 4 pole AC isolator.

Might be worth a look.

Tripower definately ,very easy to do simple install easy to commision
as for the AC isolator I'm sure you need 4 pole TPN regardless of earthing system for Pv ,on the one I did It was TT but I'm sure I read it either regs or GN7 ,DTI Bipv etc If i find it I'll post it here
