Hi All,

Just about the look at a job to price. I have been informed that the extension will serve as a second house for family members so they want a separate CU fed from the existing one. Not a problem after calcs (demand / diversity etc), but I am concerned about RCD from existing CU taking out new board or vice versa. Would sub-board benefit from a time delayed 100mA main switch.

Sub board feed will be directly clipped so needs RCD protection no matter what.

Split tails before existing CU. Simplesss.
