I've been getting these style popups when I go to another page from your post here for exampleFair enough matey
Can't really change such an established ad system on a website like ours. Adsteera would also just make money out of money that should go towards running the forum. A sort of man in the middle that you don't need. This mob have a good platform and plenty of code options for ads. Excellent customer support unlike goggle!

Thats called a vignette ad and I'm just testing that one for now for a percentage of the visitors in general (doesn't have to be logged in users like) .No change here.
On the phone there are ads in posts, between posts and at the beginning.
When I click on new thread, or really anything, you then get a full page ad.

No shouldn't have to reset anything mate. There's must be a rogue ad somewhere. Anybody 10+ posts should only see sponsors. I'll get on it matey.Does it take a bit of time for it to take affect?
Laptop looks clean, but (I) phone still has drop down ad, a couple just above this reply box and the odd full page pop-over.
I hope I don’t have to reset cache or something inntge browser, as last time I did that I lost my Wordl streak.
Yeah for now. Is everybody getting those now?View attachment 111391
are these popup style ones meant to be here btw
yep I've had a few one for the past while just assumed it was normal hahaYeah for now. Is everybody getting those now?
That's not meant to happen.
Give us a couple of hours and I'll drop back on it.
Exactly this. Extremely annoying, to the point of making me go off to look at another forum. The constant request to allow ads on my desktop make it unusable very annoying.
Have you tried a browser called Brave? It is Chromium based, so very similar to Google Chrome, but is excellent at blocking a lot of things such as ads.Exactly this. Extremely annoying, to the point of making me go off to look at another forum.
I find I get a lot of ads on YouTube with Firefox - but then again, I haven't tinkered with any settings as I don't use it very often.Have to say that Firefox settings provide excellent options where advertising and tracking are concerned. Maybe it's time I tried their mobile browser again, after not getting along with it upon release many years back.

I suspect that if you are still being badgered, the answer is no. If no badgering is occurring, the answer is yes. That is assuming the badger can be controlled...Have you stopped the constant badgering to allow adds on my Browser when I access this site?
I think with the changes dan is making, whether positive or negative, the site is being “reset” each time….
so when you open the page afresh, it’s having to go through the cookies and ads question each time.
FYI @Dan the little black search dot is back with me, along with a google search bar which is new. Adchoices are also back.
same hereStrangley enough I haven't faced the AdChoices confirmation for several weeks.
Kind of concerned about posting this as it'll be back now.
Three days in a row on mobile site since making that comment.same here
haven't seen that either
I recommend becoming a patron if you use the forum regularly. Costs very little, and I am currently using the forum with no adverts or hassle whatsoever on my Android device.
Where is your badgeI'm a patron, so generally get very little in the way of adverts.
However, when I am logged out, I still get very little in the way of adverts. As I mentioned before, I'm using the Brave browser on Android. Its default settings are very good at blocking ads and it also automatically rejects cookies for you.
If you're having trouble with excessive ads, or being asked to accept or reject cookies on a regular basis, it really is worth trying a different browser.

We get it, advertisements are annoying!
Sure, ad-blocking software does a great job at blocking ads, but it also blocks useful features of our website. For the best site experience please disable your AdBlocker.
