Why does the customer want to disconnect the grid? It'd cost a fortune in battery's, you'll have to look into the protection/bonding in the house. As it'd be a tt install.
i have seen additional consumers installed that just feed the important services when the grid is switched off/over.. Never actually installed one as the cost and longevity of the equipment/batteries changed the customers mind ! :)
