Hello i have just bought a KT65 on ebay for £260 which i think is a really good deal but the calibration has expired, does anyone know where i can get this done in Manchester for a reasonable price?

Anyone got any views on this tester?

Did i get a good deal?

Cheers

sounds a brilliant deal. for calibration, ring mike at OSCS. 07776 200146. he will come to you, so no postage, no waiting.

well, why not take a couple of readings at home? at least you'll know if it works.

Hello i have now received this test meter all looks fine apart from the null button doesnt seem to work,

The NULL writing is lit up with a tick next to it, does this mean that it will automatically null the leads? When i press the F1 button nothing happens the NULL writing just stays there, according to the maunal it should go off when you press it and come back on when you press it again.

is it acceptable to take R1+R2 readings and subtract the test lead resistance?

I have checked the readings against my calibration check box and they are nearly spot on. Is there a certain minimum and maximum value that this readings need to be within? Or is it a case of if they are consistant after ive had the meter calibrated then its ok?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
