Some of the old houses around Bath have loads of the stuff in them and its surprisingly still holding up well! on many cases outlived twin and earthLead sheath cable , if still in use would be very unusual ......
Far from PC Tel but very funnynah. Jesus played in goal. how do you think he learnt to spread his arms out that far?
can be repaired. all you need is to repair the conductors in the usual way ( crimp/solder/ heat shrink, then carefully solder some bare 2.5mm bare copper to bridge the lead. heat shrink over the top. where have all the old skills gone.
One thing don't try and pull things apart in JBs etc, all you will get is a pile of dry rubberCan of worms here Daz start messing with lead sheathed cable will lead to heartache, lead sheathed cable needs specialist accessories which probably went out of production when Jesus was playing Center Forward for Bethlehem, could end up with a bucketful of rewiring work Daz.
