Which products do you tend to use and why? Any manufacturers that you try to stay away from?

Different manufactures for different applications. Jcc, aurora m series and coilingwood halers for led down lights.

Stay away from Ring, Ikea, and B&Q to be going on with.

Any CEF own brand I tend to stay away from! Tam****e and the like!

And those daft designs with the two right angle legs that screw to the ceiling first, if the ceiling isn't level you can't get the screws in, and it's hunt the screws half the job!

I use anything sourced by myself and based on my own experience and research.
I try to avoid anything provided by a customer, especially B&Q, homebase, Ikea, etc.

I put some ansell 150w metal halide floods up the other day and was very impressed with the build quality and the price
