Hi all
Strange question but I’m hoping someone may be able to help
We have recently had a lightning strike very close to our home this is damaged all the TVs CCTV and Internet equipment this is not that however the problem also at the same time a rainwater harvesting tank (large plastic thank buried in the garden) split
The problem I have is convincing the insurance company that lightning and thunder could’ve caused damage to this tank
The tank is fed with a 4 inch pipe in and out there are no power cables in the tank there is one small pressure transducer which is still functioning fine does anyone know is it possible for lightning to cause this sort of damage
thanks gary
