Hi people. On my AM2 they supplied black insulation tape with the letters L or N on for tails identification. Does anyone know where I can purchase these please? I also remember they had L1 L2 L3 tapes.

Thanks

Seem to be two trains of thought on this, those that want it to look professional even though it may be hidden and those that just want to use a bit of tape, perhaps we need a pole, without any tape on it. Still can't put a smily on that pretend I have.

these old fashioned cables were ahead of there time. designed fir D.C. they had no prblems adjusting to A.C.

The problem with using the Brother label tape is that as soon as you get even the smallest of bends in the cable it won't stick properly. I've been looking around for pre-print pvc tape myself but can't seem to find it anywhere either. I don't like cable ties for this as they just look naff and get in the way.

The heat shrink tube works well and looks much better than flag type labels.
I'd be happy if I could even find some of that! I've just gotten in a couple of metres of clear heatshrink in order to put over the Brother labels.
