Hello everyone, I'm wondering if someone could help me with some EICR coding. I am aware that bringing mains tails into a fire rated consumer unit through separate holes can lead to some issues. I encountered this exact issue today for the first time and i am unsure whether this is likely to warrant anything higher than a C3 given that it is a small single phase domestic installation. I have looked through the regs and struggling to see anything very clear on how this matter should be considered.
Thank you in advance for your help

Is this an eddy current issue or something else?
HI, that is the potential issue i am referring to yes. This installation seemed to be suffering no adverse effects and the fact the tails entered through separate holes was something i observed and thought should be recorded on the EICR, but as i say it did not seem to be causing any problems. I believe the c/u has functioned like this for 5 years with no signs of overheating etc.
Thanks
