Mesh wifi for caravan park

Ive been asked about supplying and installing a wifi network across a caravan site, as i fitted one myself years ago at the site i worked on.
The system i used never worked 100%, so i was looking for newer hardware that could be used.

Im sure TP Link or Netgear would do something, but i'd need to have a back office application...
I dont know if they want to charge for this, or just take contact details for the users.
I also dont know if theres a phone line at the caravan site itself (within gardens of a country house) so might need a point to point antennae back to the main house to get internet access.

There are specialist companies do this sort of work, but for a small 20 pitch site, within a walled area, and no trees or anything.... im sure it can be done cheaper.

There are many access points that are used along with some broadband connection. Some like the TP-Link EAP225 are powered using PoE and suitable for outdoor mounting but I have not played with them (yet). I don't think it has any need for cloud/subscription back-ends, but you would need outdoor Ethernet cabling, a PoE switch, and obviously a broadband connection going out of the site.

In terms of hardware you should look at ubiquity kit, it is apparently the bees knees these days for WiFi and networking.

Bit of a price difference, but that'll be TPlink for home wifi, and ubiquity for commercial stuff. (taking amazon prices as guide)

Country farm, converted cottages on 150 acre estate, was a nightmare to get stable internet with a few solar/battery masts.

Metre thick walls etc doesn't help.

Another factor to remember is the 100m distance limits if you use copper Ethernet cable for PoE or even just data. You can use a couple of switches spaced at appropriate places as repeaters as well as distribution to local points, etc, but obviously you need power there. Fibre gets away from all reasonable distance limits but you need power in even more places!

But if you can get cabling in I am pretty certain it will be easier to manage and faster that a mesh of points needing wifi working for the interlinks.

Another recommendation for Ubiquiti, lots of choice, i source through comms express. There are plenty of design documentation to help design but i think you will need rate limiting for users as a minimum.
