has any one managed to connect their WiFi on a Home Hub 6 to a smart thermostat? I plugged the relay in, at the end of the day about 2 meters from the hub....I couldn’t get the relay to connect to the WiFi. I’ve had this drama before with the same hub and WiFi cameras but can’t remember how I sorted it. Every time I see a HH6 and I’ve got to connect something to it, it gives me the shivers lol. Any help would be appreciated.

With some 'smart' devices you need to use a laptop/phone to connect first to the device via wifi and then enter the home hub 6 wifi password etc.. set a few settings and then using your laptop/phone connect to the home hub 6 and using whatever app etc comes with the thermostat or cameras etc connect to it, they will then all be on the same network so should talk to each other.

Yeah I was using the customers phone, on the WiFi using Netatmo app. I couldn’t get the relay to turn blue...was just flashing white.

I've had a couple of issues with various bits of kit, trying to connect to the router/hub, when connecting to a new BT hub. Seems some of these devise's don't like 5ghz wifi according to their tech help lines.

So I turned off my 5ghz wifi. It still didn't work, so that stuff went back, but something else to consider I suppose.
