Hi all!, I have my assessment coming up soon and upon reading approved document p I may have an issue with one of the jobs I had given for the asessment. I was under the impression that any new circuit that was NOT in a kitchen, bathroom or special loaction was not notifiable, but upon reading the above document it states all new circuits back to the consumer unit are notifiable. The job was a new radial circuit for a lounge, 2 sockets, 1 spur. Although I completed all the work including the testing, it was signed off by a friend who is niceic registered because we were doing some other works including new board and other circuits for an extension. Question is can i still use the job for the assessment or shall I ring and change the job to another i have completed?

They wont know about it being notified previously, unless you tell them, which I presume you wont
How were your other jobs notified ? or were they going to be an after sales solution

I doubt whether notification issues will in fact become an issue, but Nicy members may beg to differ

I mostly sub contract for another company at the moment. All other work is mostly maintenance but I am starting to get more calls lately for rewires hence joining the nic.
