hi i have just done a 4kw system it is with sanyo panels and a power 1 inverter 2 strings of 8 and its on a south faceing roof but it is only doing 9 units a day i have 330 volts on each string but very little amps i have had a look at every connection and all looks good i have looked at reverse polarity and that looks ok as well any help would gratefull thats alan :coffee:

yes mate the scaff is still up iam back there on tuesday i was hopeing for a easy way out iam now going 2 take evey panel off not good

What has the weather been like since you've installed , 9 units does seem a bit low

This may be another reason for low output;
I ve had a 4kw running over the weekend in a rural area which did'nt want to start up straightaway as the local voltage was highish (245 v) ,anyway waited awhile and it started up ok when the voltage came down about 5 volts its been running and then reverting to standby whenever the local voltage rises, this could be happening in your area and be affecting your install
I'd advise you to keep an eye on the voltage readings if possible as you may need to contact your DNO to get the taps on the transformer adjusted
