yeah Mike...i`m on the lookout for an old analogue multimeter at the mo....I bet thats better than some of the crap they sell today, I still have an analogue IR tester, I intend to get it calibrated and start using it again :biggrin5:

did you get a decent value of it then Mike?..Yeah it was fun, it was pretty crap really, but it worked and gave a decent belt out haha, a bit of an airfix type kit really, we had to do it in Electronics, back in the early eigties when you took 236 parts 1 and 2 there was an electronics bit thrown in with it, great fun.

none of these then?...well probably, it was a long time ago and to be fair I think I broke it pretty quickly once I attempted to use it on site, we only had IRs back then, never knew what live tests were
