Hi,
i was planning to do some courses in electrical. but wanted to know whether to do part p course first or 17th edition . could anyone let me know which one to do first and which are the training institutes best in the liverpool area plz

thanks

what, if any, electrical qualifications do you have at the present?

actually i am a graduate(bachelors in electrical and electronics) done in india . have been working in the transportation field -customer service for the last 5 years in liverpool . and have got no practical experience in electrical but have got experience in computer laptop repairs ... and stuff .

could anyone guide me which one to do plz

thanks

as i see it, practical experience is what you need the most. go for 2382-12, but don't waste money on a part p course. part p is a building regulation which dictates which jobs need notification to your local building control. you can read the doc. on line at planning portal. the benchmark qualification is 2330, how you go about getting this is up to you. 3 years college, while working as an electricians mate/apprentice.or a fast track course
