I am gob smacked by all the welcoming posts and PM's. Thanks a bunch to all of you. It is very touching.

Ok I wont ban Glennsparks although it would be funny to wind him up. I'll just wait until he does something wrong ha ha. I wonder if Biff55 would like the 4 day weekend in the cooling house? Only joking gents, I'm just having a bit of fun with you

Thank you all for your kind words. This was unexpected but I'm happy to take on the Moderating duties in the Trainee sections, chit Chat etc to keep us away from the trolls and idiots.

Most of the members know me and are aware of my sense of humor. That may have to calm down a bit (but not that much) and I will continue being myself.

Dont know what to say from this point.... It's all a bit new to me. I have now got new buttons on my lap top that I can ban people with!

I did not wake up this morning thinking I was going to be a Mod, the past 48 hours has been a roller coaster ride work wise (thats a different story) and now my work life, personal life and my free time has all become a very positive outcome. This is great timing from alot of hard work put into every aspect of the above.

Now, how do I BAN Glennsparks???? Where is that button???? Let you off tonight mate, I'm in a good mood
eh?

what do you mean let me off?

caus i`l just come back as somat else....

Well me older brother turned up earlier, he lives in Aberdeen, we're a bad influence on each other.

Sounds like you had a good time Trev  Thanks for the welcome. See you in the next few months I think?

Tell you what mate, it's weird seeing my name in blue with Moderator underneath, very strange. Its not just your eye sight

I should probably tell them, the first time (and the only time come to think of it) that I met our new poacher turned gamekeeper. I was waist deep in a big muddy hole knocking earth rods in, got a nice low reading that day but the highlight was Paul bowling up with bacon sarnies and tea.
I knew he was a good lad:)

You in a hole knocking an extended earth rod in, covered in mud lol. At least you did not hit a gas pipe like Steve did  (camp site job btw).

Noticed how I was stuffed with buying the breakfast butties and brews that day??? It dont matter, DS fed me very well a few weeks ago when I was up there. I did cringe a bit when he got the core drill out!?! Of course I offered to do it but he wants to play with the big toys lol. All off his fingers are still on his hands lol.

Hey, I was in the drive through 5 mins before I needed to clock in. You win, bacon butties on me lol.

That burger van near Tesco's do a good steak sarnie dont they! You could not even taste the horse meat in it! Joking, it is really good from there.

Congratulations Paul on the new job i am sure you will do a great job.
