Hello there,

A customer has four external lights that are all looped on one feed. He wants pir motion sensor lights but wants only one pir instead of one on each light each light due to the cost. Can anyone recommend a decent pir that does not need to be wired in 3 core as the wiring is already installed in t/e . I want to fit the pir to the first light so I can activate the others from it .

Any PIR is capable of doing this as you will have your switched line & neutral supply to the PIR and the switched line & neutral load out to the lights.

As Lenny says, pretty well any PIR can do this. Take the SWL feed from your switch, to live of the PIR, common the neutrals. Take the SWL from the PIR to all light fitting L's. Turn original switch to ON, and hey presto.

you could always use a 360 degree PIR so it picks up all directions , but this depends on the install and where the customer requires covering

Timeguard do a PIR 500w flood that will take up to 3 slave 500w floods
