I recommended putting each appliance on there in circuits using commando sockets with rotary isolations, his response was "it will be cheaper to keep changing the double socket than do all that". Madness
That plugtop is filthy, there is no excuse!!
or a yearly EICR for the next 30 years lmaoSo once again the OP comes up with the expensive option.
I take it you didn’t suggest a second double socket.
Thought I'd share this with you all, what I found today on a call out!!
Whatever.....
so after the appliance burnt three sockets they thought 'hmm, better call a spark':banghead:
Tony why would I offer to install an additional socket. So they can put another 4 way socket outlet in it? By putting commando sockets in each appliance has its own individual supply, no additional items can be plugged in to overload it and it is also better for cleaning. As this is a commercial property it has a 20% eicr carried out each year.
