Discuss Question for a new product: uni student. What jobs are done on the floor / kneeling most? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

The problem with knee pads in trousers is they move around and inevitably are not under your knees when you hit the floor, then the problem with over knee protection is they are heavy, don't breath. so you sweat inside them and eventually become very uncomfortable.

The idea of a kneeling pad with tool pockets seems a good idea, but eventually as we all do, will end up very heavy as you load it with tools, I eventually went with a small stiff cary bag, not shoulder bag, that I could put all the tools I need for a specific job and a kneeling pad on one side, but again it gets overloaded and we are back to square one.

Good luck with finding the ideal product.
