How many of you that install EV have a tester that can test integral RDC-DD devices ?

I’m starting to get a more enquiries but don’t know the consensus on this

I do. That said, there's no specific requirement to test the RDC-DD.
Thanks for reply. Would it not come under functional testing of assemblies ? Is there a specific requirement to test the EVCP itself with an EVA ? (other than functional testing of assemblies reg which could be done with the vehicle ? )

There is no requirement to test with an adaptor, but it does let you verify that the safety measures are all functioning correctly and also to confirm that the chargepoint functions when changing state on the dials.

I wouldn't entertain installing without the adaptor. Can also be useful for fault finding to simulate what's happening.
