Greetings.
I am new to this forum and I have a question regarding a relay that I am installing on a motorcycle wiring harness.
What I'm trying to do is install a momentary ignition switch, and the question is if the relay is connected correctly in this diagram.
Thanks in advance. RELAY.png

Looks about right to me. Ensure that the wire from 85 to the switch is well protected from damage, since, if it shorts to the chassis, it will engage the starter motor.

Just one point, the starter solenoid is basically a big relay in itself, as long as the push button is not a fancy low power thing then why not just engage the solenoid directly from the push button?

It's a big relay combined with a hefty solenoid, so it takes a substantial switch to operate it. Such switches exist, but it's normal practice to include a relay and ease the loads on the switch.

This is precisely my intention with the relay, I'm doing a "bare bones " wiring for the motorcycle. Got rid of quite a bit cables, sensors, relays and simplified the wiring as much as possible. My momentary push button most likely qualifies as a fancy low power switch. So I though of including 1 relay for ignition and 1 relay for all the lights.
