replacement for drayton digistat RF1

Does anyone know the best replacement for the above model?

Its for a valliant turbomax.

British gas have been round to service the boiler recently and said they can fit a wireless thermostat that can be controlled when you are away from the home?

I cant find anything like this, has anyone uses/ heard of such a device?

But that looks way to complicated to install as a house thermostat? It requires distribution centres etc and must cost a fortune!

I believe there is one that's just come out that you an control with your I phone or I pad which looks quite good, I would always go for wired stats if I had the choice I find wireless ones can be a pain with losing there signal and forever getting phone calls after they are fitted.

Looks like you cannot purchase this yourself, you have to get BG to install it!

BT simply "badge" other peoples kit so somebody must know who actually makes it!

Yes but the trouble is they use their own portal/app to use with the device. So even if we find the device it will just be a wireless stat without an app :/
