Really didn't know much about this guy until I heard various news snippets.

Sounds like the guy left a positive mark on the world and a sad passing in my opinion, especially for the VW enthusiasts.

Not heard of him either just did a quick google and it seems he was well liked by those who knew him.He was known as the fifth beetle so can see you have a sence of humour too
