Hi
I am pricing a commercial property in Scotland and the spec says " Electrical fixtures to be installed as recommended by mandatory standard in SBS NDH clause 4.6" . I'm assuming its Scottish building standards but an't find out what it is. Anyone know this one?

Clear as mud, from the Non domestic standards;

Standard 4.6

Every building must be designed and constructed in such a way that electric lighting points and socket outlets are provided to ensure the health, safety and convenience of occupants and visitors.

Limitation:
This standard applies only to domestic buildings where a supply of electricity is available.

Building Standards technical handbook 2017: non-domestic buildings - gov.scot - https://www.gov.scot/publications/building-standards-2017-non-domestic/4-safety/46-electrical-fixtures/

But then in domestic standards;

Building Standards technical handbook 2017: domestic buildings - gov.scot - https://www.gov.scot/publications/building-standards-2017-domestic/4-safety/46-electrical-fixtures/

I do wonder about Scottish building.
Apparently, it would be cheaper to knock down and re-build Holyrood instead of paying the maintenance costs because it's so bad!
