Do you have to be part of a scheme to do ecir. I have not done any work that i need To notify. So not sure if I should join one.

as howard says ^^^^^. don't let the niceic gestapo tell you otherwise.

EICRs and PAT testing you just need to be competent. Being part of a scheme just helps you justify your competency.

Has anything changed in regard to this in the last few years?
