Fix it? If he has powered it up then he also needs to set it up unless the plumbers was there with him and they could have done a little job sharing.

The OP didn't install the shower. It was not his job to install the shower. The shower was fitted by someone else. It's them who should have tested the shower fully when they installed it.

But if they could not test it due to the electrician not having connected it yet?
I guess the bloke paying the bill doesn't see it the way you do. And neither do I.
I suppose someone's got to turn it on for the very first time, and will need to follow the manufactures instructions. As davesparks says, it might be a commissioning error. If it is, it's a simple fix and OP can get his money.The OP hasn't stated who installed the shower. It was his job to install the new breaker, cable and that is it. (that is what I get from post 1)
i set it up on the MAX power to see if it could hold it, because they said it had tripped the MCB.
I think it was A MITE some thing shower
and the middle setting was ECO so i set it one above that
then put the Temp Control to all the way in the RED.
I wanted to strees it out,
