I've always fitted the Aico range. Good product & tech support. Not cheap mind, and was looking at their smart devices side of things.

Aico 160 series as SC says. Ten year rechargeable lithium cells. They're my first recommendation to customers, and my standard fit on rewires.

Yet another vote for Aico. Very reliable as well, faulty units are next to none existent.

Aico every time . If they ever went bust I would go back to Kidde, that is if they are still as good as they once were.

I agree but prefer Kidde as you have more room for connections

    Not cheap=not nasty!
I don't mind paying for good quality.
