    I've always fitted the Aico range. Good product & tech support. Not cheap mind, and was looking at their smart devices side of things.

    Aico 160 series as SC says. Ten year rechargeable lithium cells. They're my first recommendation to customers, and my standard fit on rewires.

    Aico here...wired from mains/10 year battery/radio interconnect/ all options available.
    Not cheap=not nasty!
    I don't mind paying for good quality.
