just a theory
according to:
http://www.willetttechnicalservices.co.uk/bathroomzones.pdf
a socket must be fitted 3meters horizontally from zone 1.
so in theory if you go above 2.25meters vertically are you permitted to fit a socket outlet?

No matter what height you install it at it still has to be more than 3M from the horizontal edge of zone 1.

ie. If you install it at 2.5M you would have to measure your 3M from the edge of zone 1 at 2.25M
