Solar street lighting

Not sure how many of you have come across much solar street lighting but it was the first time iv seen a full size panel on top of the light lol.. Is this the usual ?... Thought they would just have it built into the fitting ... These can't be cheap either. Apologies for the photo Being so far away had just finished work and I was being lazy

I'd love to see what happens in a high wind,personally if you got a bad winter I can see it raining solar panels.lol

Presumably the batteries are in the column? Probably lithium batteries these days as well. Daz
