Hi got a 8 panel solar system on bungalow, changing the board to 18th edition spd board
Solar feed is chased into wall so will this need a type B rcbo or can you get away with the type A rcbo.
Also reading multiple different things about spds do I need one installing at the solar inverter aswell as the the main one in consumer unit

Then you would be familiar with the difference between Type A and B RCD protection and how, if at all, selection would be impacted by burial of cables in a wall.

Yea I do
It was more the spd at solar end I was more enquiring about than rcbo just wanted to confirm it for my own sake as I was questioning myself over it as the understanding I have is type B is just needed for solar anyways
