the combi is cheap because there getting rid of old stock

makita are getting rid of combi's sold with 3amo batteries and swapping them for 4ah.

for example the bhp458 and dhp458

b comes with 3amp battery and d comes with 4amp

how do you find this stuff out. The Makita will do me till the other brand manufacturer decides to honour the( three year extended) warranty on my new drill bought only last November

I got a dhp458 for £78 body only XD

ask a place if they will break a kit down and price match toolstop

No need to by the dhp if you get your hands on the drill look on the bottom of the battery slider, if it is plain yellow or ha a star then it will accept the 4Ah batteries automatically. Just upgraded my batts for the kit I bought last year!

what im saying is the dhp458 is the top of the range makita and im using it with my 3amp batteries.

for £78

(dhp are 4amp ready bhp are designed for 3amp)
